So happy to present my first Portrait CD!
I am particularly pleased that I have recorded three works by composers from my home country Japan: Toshio Hosokawa, Tōru Takemitsu, Akira Nishimura. With the official permission of the Takemitsu family, I have arranged a harpsichord piece "Rain Dreaming" for organ.
The CD has two time axis. The first half is Bach and the socond half is Modern works.
In the centre is a first official recording of "Rituale", a young work by Nicolaus A. Huber, who recently celebrated his 85th birthday.
The recordings were made on the Goll organ in the Marktkirche in Hanover and on the Eule organ in St Sebastian's Cathedral. They are two beautiful organs!
I would like to thank all the people who contributed to this CD!
